If you have a previous model V7 / V8 / V10, you can use all of the powered attachments and stick/pole with this new v10 unit. This means you do not have the unnecessary cost to repurchase all of these items. NOTE: You can use v6 parts with this however you need an adaptor and you cannot use any of your powered v6 items, so rather than mess about its better to just sell all of your v6 items to offset the cost of the upgrade to this v10 unit. It features Larger dust bin/filter/clip in battery. It has a soft grip to make it more comfy to hold for old periods. It also uses a wider carpet head. If your budget allows to get the latest version however it makes sense as it has a large bin capacity which means less emptying. Wider carpet head ability means you can clean more surface area compared to previous models. It might not suit everyone, but in larger spaces it might very well make sense to cut down cleaning time.
